Welcome to Morley Cottage, Hathersage

A lovely Peak District holiday cottage in the popular village of Hathersage, Hope Valley, Derbyshire.

The cottage is built in local stone as an annex to our house, Morley Lodge. The building has been lovingly and sympathetically converted by the current owners. The cottage is set back from the main village road and the back of the cottage looks out across surrounding gardens and woodlands.

The cottage has been graded 4 stars by the English Tourism Council.

Ground Floor

The entrance to the cottage is at the rear, and this takes you into a compact and well-equipped kitchen, with wooden units, tiled floor and all the equipment essential for a comfortable stay.

The kitchen opens through to the lounge, with its welcoming gas coal effect log burning stove inset into a stone fireplace, with oak beams adding to its charm and character.

Double doors from the lounge open onto a private patio garden area, which enjoys sun for much of the day.

First Floor

Srairs from the lounge lead up to the bedroom, which has a double bed and more oak beams.

A cot is available to accommodate a small child.

The shower room is en-suite to the bedroom and is equipped with a shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.
