Welcome to Morley Cottage, Hathersage

A lovely Peak District holiday cottage in the popular village of Hathersage, Hope Valley, Derbyshire.

The cottage is built in local stone and was originally a barn. The building is 200 years old and has been lovingly and sympathetically converted by the current owners. Many original features have been retained, including many fine beams and the original thick stone walls.

Ground Floor

The entrance to the cottage is at the rear, and this takes you into a compact and well-equiped kitchen, with wooden units, tiled floor and all the equiment essential for a comfortable stay.

The kitchen opens through to the lounge, with its welcoming gas coal effect log burning stove inset into a stone fireplace, with oak beams addeding to its charm and character.

Double doors from the lounge open onto a private patio garden area, which enjoys sun for much of the day.

First Floor

Srairs from the lounge lead up to the bedroom, which has a double bed and more oak beams.

The shower room is en-suite to the bedroom and is equipped with a shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.
